Gestern Abend war es wieder einmal richtig kalt hier und somit wurde der Gasheizofen wieder einmal angeschalten. (durch den Geruch nicht angenehm, aber warm)
Auch heute Morgen ist es dunkel bewölkt und etwas kühl. Also Rucksack gerichtet, Leroy geschnappt und los. Ab nach Osorio, den halben Pico hoch via el Rincon und wollte dann eigentlich den Aquadukt entlang nach La Laguna laufen. Den halben weg dem Aquadukt entlang sah ich plötzlich einen Wanderer aus der Gegenrichtung kommen der einen großen schwarzen unangeleinten Hund dabei hatte. Oh je, da waren die Probleme voraussehbar. (Der Weg entlang des Aquadukts ist recht schmall und besteht an manchen Stellen aus nur ein paar Zentimetern auf jeder Seite wo man sich vorsichtig entlang tasten muß) Stell Dir mal vor auf diesen paar Zentimetern treffen 2 Hunde aufeinander und feinden sich an…. In Gedanken sah ich schon entweder mich oder den Anderen den Abhang runterkullern das wollte ich nicht riskieren.
Da blieb mir nichts Anderes übrig als umzukehren und einen anderen Weg zu wählen. Na ja, die Alternative war dann NOCH EIN STEILER Weg bis hoch zur Strasse nach La Laguna. Ich war froh als wir endlich oben waren. Danach die Wanderwege zurück runter nach Teror und durch´s Dorf Nachhause. Meine Füße und Kniee haben es mich merken lassen das ich keine 20 mehr bin. Wund geriebene Zehe und schmerzen in den Kniegelenken beim Bergab laufen. 🙁 Na ja, man kann nicht alles haben. 😉
Julie, It’s been a while, but most days I still check your blog. Yes it’s me, down the road from Todmorden – Back again. You have had some troubles in your life, but you now have a new home. Hope you like it as much as your old one.
We used to have a white cat like yours – Liked him a great deal for very many years.
Why am I writing again? – Well because we love GC and IN PARTICULAR I love your pictures. Not taken to impress anyone – Just because you like the look of a shot – Which is not easy – It’s a choice made by the owner of the shutter finger – You don’t always succeed, but you try. Particularly liked the top photo 7th June of the street – Nothing special, any old street, but it has a sense of calm with the sunlight on the house on the left – I liked that the best – But the others are so good too – 12th June the mauve flower plant and the bicycle stand – Who would photograph a bicycle stand? Then, going way back there’s the rainbows.

Nice to read from you again and to hear that you like my pictures. 🙂 To tell the truth, My pictures are as you say not perfect, but I take them for me and just like sharing them.
As for our new home, We love it here. Life is plodding along and as for the troubles….. So many people are worse off than us, so we just think positive and keep our heads up.
