Today we have once again 24° with blue sky and sunshine but some strong wind.  On the coast of Las Palmas once again heavy clouds.

26° in the shade here in the mountains of Gran Canaria.  We have blue sky, sunshine and now and then some wind.  Over Las Palmas there is a heavy dense cloud. I hope it stays there.  After nearly a month in cool grey Yorkshire i need a little sunshine. 

I was admiring the tattoos of a guy in the Gym. I asked him the other day if icould take some pictures of them, and you can imagine my suprise as he dropped his trousers and let me take some pics of his back tattoo.

Last Week, i ´walked from Arucas to Teror.  It took me 3 hours thanks to the dog and taking so many pictures and breathers.

I was just out on the terrace, and found Tigger on the sunlounger having a sleep.  As soon as he heard me he rolled onto his back and wanted stroaking.  I had hardly began, as Gypsie came running, threw herself onto her back and wanted attebntion too.  What crazy animals we have.

If your are spending some time on Gran Canaria and are a little tired of the Beach and Sand, why not take a drive or Bus to Teror.  There you can either walk around the famous Church, the Museum and the Village or go a little further to visit the Finca Osorio.  The Finca not only has beautiful ways for walking with a variety of routs, it also has a Farm where you can visit the Animals.

Another great Aspect are the collection of Trees and Plants there in and around the Gardens.

So realy a place well worth visiting.  If you have time take a Picknick, as it has a nicely situated Picknick area with Tables and Benches.  And the View from some places on the Finca are breath taking.
