Happy Easter to you too Julie. Many thanks for your daily pictures and weather reports, we check them every day.
We Brits love our roses so a special thank you for this and your Protea some weeks ago. Oh, and the white cat on the roof. We owned an identical cat some 15yrs back - Against a magnificent backdrop - Brought a tear to our eyes.
We came to Arguineguín for six weeks this Christmas / New Year and hardly saw cloud. Planned to visit Finca de Osorio, but never made it - Maybe next time. Walked a lot in the mountains, in some beautiful areas spared by the fires. Then, in the burned parts, we were encouraged to see some evidence of slow regeneration. Wonderful country.
Thank you. Im glad you like my Blog. I am trying to find more time to post more in English too (not only in German), but somehow i never seem to find the time. I will try to do so in future.
The next time you are on the Island, you just have to take a trip to Teror and the Finca Osorio. Even the trip up there is worth the drive. I do love the south for its weather, but i love the mountains for its lovely countryside and lovely plants. The Finca is well worth a visit as there is so much to see and during the week its quiet. It has lovely walk ways and even if you are just a stroller, you can visit the beautiful Gardens.
