The rain will do the vegetation good, water the crops and encourage new growth. Maybe you should live in a desert?

I dont think that would be the solution. All over the Island there is beautiful weather most at the time, but this year here in the mountains of Gran Canaria it has done nothing but rain this year. I do like to live here, but this year the summer has forgotten us.
Unfortunatly the rain is only in the mountains of Teror, so it is not helping the crops in the south or down the coast where it is most needed.
