At last im back home, unfortunatly with the flue.  My holiday in Germany was not as i had expected, and my feeling did not let me down. (didnt want to fly in the first place)

We have 20,7° this morning, with a grey covered sky.  In the mountains the clouds are bginning to desolve, and the blue sky and sunshine are comming through.

We have a dry but kool grey start to the day with a temperature of 17,5°.Im waiting to see what the day brings. (Could do with some warm weather to cure the flu that i have brought with me from Germany)

At last im back on the island, but the weather hasnt changed here for the better.  This morning we had dark rainclouds covering the sky and all round it was grey and damp.  The temperature was 17°.  Now at 15.30pm we have dry but grey weather, and the temperature lies by 24°.

What a great start to the day.  We have 22° in the shade, but 38° in the sun.  The sky is blue without any clouds and no wind.  (Well it had to be nice now that im flying to Germany, I am thinking about cancelling my flight)

So I will not be posting the weather here out of the mountians of Gran Canaria for the next 11 Days.

Well, today i once again managed to pick up a bargain. :-)  (I love baragin hunting)

I had gone into Carrefour in Vecindario to get some provision for my Husband (he will have to look after himself for 2 weeks) and was looking for some new pyjamas to take with me.  Unfortunatly, in the ladies department, they only had sleeveless ones, with short pants.  I like to be cosy and warm in bed, as i have a habit of uncovering myself during the night, which is a little uncomfortable here in the mountains.

So i decided to have a look for some T-shirts for my husband and wandered into the gents area.  To my supprise, i didnt find any T-shirts, but managed to snapp up 3 pairs of pyjamas (Fleece cotton) reduced from  ?17.95 down to ?2.  Ok I only need one pair, but at that price, i took the three.  Now i will be once again cosy warm in bed and dont have to worry again for the next few years.

Blue sky and sunshine this morning, with a temperature of 21°. There is no wind.

What can i say, we have rain, rain, and more rain.  There isnt a blue spot in sight, and the temperature lies by 18°.

15.00 Update: 23 degrees with sunshine and a little wind.

Another very damp start to the day.  We have thick rain clouds in the sky, and the temperature lies by 19°.

Thick black clouds here in the mountains this morning.  The temperature lies by 17° and it looks like we are in for some MORE rain.

15.00 Update: The clouds have gone, and the sun is shining.  We have a temperature of 24° in the shade, and a little wind.
